The Residency Program Receives its First Grant!

EFA Project Space is thrilled to announce that we will be awarded a $5,000 discretionary grant in the end of 2010 from The Lily Auchincloss Foundation which we will put towards further development of our Residency for Arts Workers as Artists! After the success of its launch this past August, our hunch has been proven that this unique residency program is a vital one. This grant will be an anchor enabling us to move forward, providing space and support New York's workforce of hard working, overextended artists! EFA is extremely grateful to The Lily Auchincloss Foundation for its support and encouragement of EFA Project Space two years in a row.

Residency Open House and Reception

On Friday, August 27, EFA Project Space opened its doors to share the activities of the first Studio Residency for New York City Arts Workers. Friends and colleagues milled around to see what the artists have been up to, and to celebrate this new program. We were especially grateful to the New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA) and Grolsch beer who sponsored the event.
