Tonight, Wednesday, August 10th, EFA Project Space's 2010 Studio Residents will present their experience and the artwork they produced during the inaugural Studio Residency for NYC Arts Workers.  Join us in EFA Project Space gallery from 6:30 - 8:30pm to support these inspiring arts professionals!

Thank you to all who came out for the 'one year later' presentations of our 2010 New York City Art Workers Residency Program. Our returning residents included: Sean Carroll, Paul Clay, Chantel Foretch, Felicity Hogan, Sebastien Sanz de Santamaria, Amber Hawk Swanson, and Beatrice Wolert. Sea Worthy summer event schedule is here:

Visit the SeaWorthyNyc.Org site for the calendar of events including excursions and workshops led by Flux Factory and Gowanus Studio Space all summer long! Activities begin Friday, July 1st with a talk by fearless round-the-world Sailor Reid Stowe followed by a celebration at the Annabelle Sailing Basin in Long Island City. The weekend continues with a Trajinera building workshop led by Natalia Porter and Ben Cohen at the Gowanus Studio Space; and SP Weather Station and Marie Lorenz Present Water: Sponge at Flux Factory on July 3rd.

Thank you to all who came out to join EFA Project Space in celebrating the work of Constance Hockaday, Mary Mattingly, and Swoon.  Dylan Gauthier led a night of lectures and discussion that offered informative journeys through maritime minds and proved to be a great success!  Stay tuned for upcoming events happening later this summer in the space.
