Intro - by Piero Passacantando

Office Body Well Being with Chelsea Kostek - Chrome yoga will offer a workshop on movement in the office space.  The focus will be on the importance of posture and continuous movement for office workers who are typically saddled to a desk and chair. Chelsea will use her knowledge of yoga, somatics, anatomy, and dance to demonstrate and teach a series of movements to keep your mind and body polished. We will discuss the importance of finding your own method for releasing stress through movement and ways to mindfully incorporate this into your day.

Yoga Dance – Chelsea Kostek of Chrome Yoga will perform a yoga dance. This yogadance will explore freedom of movement to music with a touch of alignment discipline and pattern (aka choreography). A yogadance workshop will be offered for attendees who may be interested in this form of movement.

Collective Brainstorm Session and Microwave/Office Fridge Potluck to follow. Participants are asked to bring a dish to store in the office fridge, and to reheat it in the microwave if necessary. The food will be shared during the brainstorming sessions.

Chelsea Kostek is a Design Strategist, Industrial Designer and Yoga teacher. She obtained a Masters of Industrial Design from Rhode Island School of Design and has worked for the Business Innovation Factory, Griffin Technology, Brookstone and A.T. Cross.
